New-looking cabinets
without new cabinets
Dated cabinets don’t need to be torn out. Most of the time the boxes and doors are fine. It’s the finish that’s tired. We take them from dark wood or dated paint to a clean new color for a fraction of what replacement costs. I walk you through the whole process before we start, so you know exactly what’s happening in your kitchen.

Prep is the whole job
Painted cabinets peel for one reason: somebody skipped the prep.
Clean
Every door, drawer front, and frame gets degreased first. Paint won’t stick to years of grease and hand oil.
Sand
The old finish gets scuffed so the primer has something to grab.
Prime
A bonding primer goes on before any color does.
Paint
Brushed and rolled, coat by coat. No overspray drifting across your counters and appliances.
I check every door and drawer front before I call it done.
Before & after
Our jobs, our photos.

Kitchen cabinets
Dark-stained cabinets refinished in white. Same cabinets, new kitchen.
What customers say
Ron was prompt and professional, he took extra time to make sure that I 100% understood the process before starting. The cabinets turned out great and I would recommend him for any other painting needs!
Straight answers
Is painting cheaper than replacing?
Yes, by a lot. You keep the boxes, doors, and countertops. You’re paying for prep and paint, not demolition and new cabinetry.
Will painted cabinets chip?
The ones that chip are the ones that weren’t prepped. Clean, sand, prime, then paint. Skip a step and you’ll see it in a few months.
Can I still use my kitchen?
Yes. Parts of it will be out of commission while we work, and I’ll tell you up front which parts and when.
Can you go from dark wood to white?
Yes. That’s the job in the photo. It takes good primer and more coats than a light-to-light change, and that’s already in the estimate.
Do you spray cabinets?
No. Even cabinets are brushed and rolled. Why I don’t spray.
Do you paint the walls too?
If you want. Most people do the kitchen walls while the cabinets are already in progress. One estimate covers both. Interior painting.
Is the estimate free?
Yes. Once the measurements are confirmed, the price I quote is the price you pay.
Where do you work?
I work out of Mesquite and cover all of Dallas County. Past the county line, I’m in Richardson, Plano, Murphy, Sachse, Wylie, Rowlett, Fate, Heath, Forney, and Arlington. Don’t see your town? Call me anyway. I’ll tell you straight if I can get there.
Get a cabinet painting estimate
Tell me roughly how many doors and drawers, what color they are now, and what you’re thinking. A phone photo of the kitchen helps. Text it to me.
