Fence & deck staining · Mesquite & Dallas CountyFences, decks & doors

Wood that’s gone gray,
brought back

Texas sun bakes bare wood until it turns gray, dries out, and starts to split. Stain protects it and brings the color back. I’ll look at your fence or deck, tell you what the wood will take, and help you pick a color that works with it.

What we stain

Fences

Wood privacy fences, one side or both.

Decks

Worn, faded decks brought back.

Front doors

Stained or refinished. It’s the first thing anybody sees.

Bad boards

Rotted or broken boards can be replaced before we stain, quoted separately. Your call, but there’s no sense staining wood that’s about to fail.

Book it on its own, or add it to an exterior paint job and I’ll quote it all together.

What customers say

Ron paid attention to detail and was very diligent about making sure that he was doing quality work. He replaced the boards with higher grade wood to ensure that the boards will last for a long time. I have to say I was very pleased with all of the work that he performed at my home.

Straight answers

Do you pressure wash first?

It’s not included in a standard job. If the wood needs it, I’ll tell you and quote it separately.

How often does a fence need restaining?

It depends on the sun, the wood, and the stain. When I look at yours, I’ll tell you honestly where it stands.

Can you replace boards too?

Yes. You’ll see every bad board I see. I show you, price replacing them, and you decide which ones go. Better to replace a bad board now than stain it twice.

Can you stain without replacing bad boards?

Yes, if it’s optional. I note it and make it look the best it can. If replacing a board is required, I can’t do the work without it. I’ll tell you up front which is which.

Can you stain my fence and paint my house in the same job?

Yes. One estimate covers both. Exterior painting.

Is the estimate free?

Yes. Once the measurements are confirmed, the price I quote is the price you pay.

Where do you work?

I work out of Mesquite and cover all of Dallas County. Past the county line, I’m in Richardson, Plano, Murphy, Sachse, Wylie, Rowlett, Fate, Heath, Forney, and Arlington. Don’t see your town? Call me anyway. I’ll tell you straight if I can get there.

Tell me what you want stained and roughly how big it is. Fence length or deck size is plenty to start.
